½º¸¶Æ® ¿øÀÚ·Î(SMART, System-integrated Modular Advanced Reactor) ¿øÀüÀº Àü·Â(90 MW)°ú ´ã¼ö(40,000 m^3/d)¸¦ µ¿½Ã¿¡ »ý»êÇÑ´Ù. ÇöÀç ½º¸¶Æ® ¿øÀüÀº »ç¿ìµð¾Æ¶óºñ¾Æ¿Í Çù·ÂÇÏ¿© °³¹ßÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Â ÁßÀÌ´Ù.
South Korea has developed a small nuclear reactor design for cogeneration of electricity and potable water. The 330 MWt SMART reactor (an integral PWR) has a long design life. The main concept has the SMART reactor coupled to four MED units, each with thermal-vapour compressor (MED- TVC) and producing total 40,000 m3/d, with 90 MWe.
